Thinking about planning a visit
to Thyme on the Terrace? While we may seem far away, we are
right in the heart of Chester County, in the beautiful Brandywine
Valley. And there there is quite a lot to do! Within an hour’s
drive of Thyme on the Terrace you can tour Winterthur Museum
and Gardens, Longwood Gardens, Chanticleer Garden, and the
Brandywine River Museum. Or, if you are thirsty, you can follow
the Brandywine River Wine Trail! We are also very close to
picturesque Lancaster County where there are a number of quaint
bed and breakfasts or you can shop for beautiful, handmade
quilts.

Directions to Thyme on
the Terrace from the East
- 202 South towards West Chester,
PA
- Exit Hwy 30 West towards Downingtown/Lancaster
(Exit will fork immediately, stay to the right which is
west)
- Follow Hwy 30 to Downingtown,
Manor Ave (Hwy 322) exit
- Exit right and then turn right
onto Manor Ave (Hwy 322)
- Go 5.5 miles and turn right
into second entrance for Thyme on the Terrace. (Large white
barn).
- This entrance will take you
to a parking lot behind the barn.
Directions to Thyme on
the Terrace from the West
- Head east (towards New Jersey)
on I-76 (PA turnpike)
- Stay on the PA turnpike to the
Morgantown exit (Exit 322)
- Leave turnpike, following signs
for Hwy 10 South towards Morgantown
- Follow Hwy 10 South through
Morgantown (there are a few turns to stay on Hwy 10 South).
- Stay on Hwy 10 towards Honeybrook.
- In Honeybrook, turn left onto
Hwy 322.
- Go several miles until a traffic
light intersects with Hwy 82.
- Go through the light for exactly
½ a mile.
- Turn left into Thyme on the
Terrace entrance (big white barn on the left hand side right
on the road; entrance is just prior to barn)
Directions to Thyme on
the Terrace from the South (Delaware and Maryland)
- I-95 North to 202 North exit
towards West Chester, PA (exit 8)
- 202 North to and past West
Chester (approximately 16 miles)
- Exit Pottstown Pike, PA-100
North to Exton (NOTE: there is an exit for Hwy 322 West
just prior to this exit but do NOT take this exit for Hwy
322)
- Go approx 3.3 miles on PA-100
and exit to Hwy 30 West towards Downingtown/Lancaster (Right
hand turn)
- Follow Hwy 30 to Downingtown,
Manor Ave (Hwy 322) exit (approx 5.7 miles)
- Exit right and then turn right
onto Manor Ave (Hwy 322)
- Go 5.3 miles and turn right
into second entrance (large white barn)
- This entrance will take you
to a parking lot behind the barn.
Directions to Thyme on
the Terrace from Northern New Jersey and New York
- Take the I-78 WEST toward PA
- I-78 West through NJ into Pennsylvania
to I-476 (Northeast Extension turnpike) towards PHILADELPHIA
AND SOUTH (note: you will cross the Delaware river and pay
a 25 cent toll about halfway through this part).
- Exit onto I-476 South (a toll
road) toward Philadelphia. Go about 24 miles on 1-476
- Take the Pennsylvania turnpike
I-276 exit towards HARRISBURG/ NORRISTOWN, exit #20
- Stay on the PA turnpike (I-276
eventually turns into I-76) to the Pottstown/West Chester
exit, approx 39 miles (Old exit 23; New exit 312)
- Leave turnpike, heading south
toward West Chester/Exton/Downingtown on Hwy 100 South.
(North to Pottstown is the wrong way).
- Go about 1 mile and turn right
onto Hwy 113 (Uwchlan Ave)
- Follow Hwy 113 approximately
2.2 miles to Hwy 30
- Take Hwy 30 West (right turn
onto Hwy 30)
- Follow Hwy 30 approximately
1.5 miles to Manor Ave (Hwy 322) exit
- Exit right and then turn right
onto Manor Ave (Hwy 322)
- Go 5.5 miles and turn right
into second entrance for Thyme on the Terrace. (Large white
barn).
- This entrance will take you
to a parking lot behind the barn.
Directions to Thyme on the Terrace From Central and
Southern New Jersey
- From I-276 (PA Turnpike), head
west (toward Harrisburg)
- Stay on the PA turnpike (I-276
eventually turns into I-76) to the Downingtown exit #312
(it will also say Pottstown/West Chester exit)
- Leave turnpike, heading south
toward West Chester/Exton/Downingtown on Hwy 100 South.
(North to Pottstown is the wrong way).
- Go about 1 mile and turn right
onto Hwy 113 (Uwchlan Ave)
- Follow Hwy 113 approximately
2.2 miles to Hwy 30
- Take Hwy 30 West (right turn
onto Hwy 30)
- Follow Hwy 30 approximately
